Cinnamon Kettle Popcorn

I have been trying to find some good healthy snacks that are really easy to make and have some variety. Because let’s face it, we all need the sweets every once in a while. Popcorn is something that I have found to morph into whatever kind of snack that you want it to be, without being completely terrible for you. So this is a recipe that I had come up with for a Cinnamon Kettle Popcorn. It’s wicked easy and takes just about 5 minutes to make it (Same as Orville’s). So there are no excuses on this one!

2 Tablespoons Canola Oil                                ½ Cup Unpopped popcorn kernals

¼ cup cinnamon sugar                                     ½ teaspoon kosher salt

Directions:

  1. Heat canola oil in at smallest, a 3-quart saucepan over medium-high heat. After heated, add popcorn, sugar, and salt to pan. Cover and cook 3 minutes or until kernals begin popping. Shake pan frequently. Continue cooking 2 minutes and shake pan as often as you can to prevent burning.

Makes 6 servings

This is absolutely delicious. You can make it as sweet or full of cinnamon as you like to. Go crazy and let me know if you come up with some other delicious ways to make popcorn.
