Well, don’t get too excited. It’s not REAL ice cream. This came about with another conversation with a diabetic mother who was trying to find an easy substitute for ice cream for her kid, without getting their blood sugar out of control. The result of the conversation:
Let me tell you, a delicious, simple little dessert that won’t pack on the lbs. What this actually is, is the Keebler chocolate topped ice cream cones, with Light Whipped Topping filling the center and sprinkles on top. I put this in the freezer for an hour and out came a frozen dessert and resembled ice cream! The texture is just like ice cream but without all of the sugars and calories. I know it sounds a bit crazy, but give it a try! For a whopping 60 calorie dessert, it’s worth it!
